Tipperary authors shortlisted for book awards

Two Tipperary authors have been shortlisted for the 2017 Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards.

Nenagh author Julian Gough is nominated in the Children’s Book of the Year category, for his book ‘Rabbit and the Bear: The Pest in the Nest’.

Meanwhile, Clonmel-born model, foodie and fitness star Roz Purcell’s cookbook ‘Half Hour Hero’ is up for the Cookbook of the Year accolade.

Ahead of the awards later this month, people can vote for their favourite author across 15 categories at irishbookawards.irish.

Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on Tuesday 28 November.
