Tipp U21 captain says team can’t be happier to be champions

Tipperary shocked Cork last night to be crowned All Ireland U21 hurling champions at the Gaelic Grounds.

The Rebels were hot favourites heading into the tie – having overcome Tipp by 13 points in the Munster final on the 4th of July this year.

However, Tipp were out for redemption and thanks to a goal in injury time from Conor Stakelum, emerged victorious on a 3-13 to 1-16 scoreline.

Tipp captain Colin English spoke to Tipp FM Sport after the final whistle and said they couldn’t be happier ..
