The Tipp FM Sports Star of the Month for May has been announced as the Tipperary Under-20 Hurling Team.

There was plenty of worthy candidates including the Tipperary minor football team and the FAI national cup winning first year girls soccer team from St Mary’s secondary school in Nenagh.
However, the award was given to the Tipperary U20 hurlers who won Munster and All-Ireland titles last month.
They will now receive a specially crafted piece from Quirke Trophies Ltd which will be presented at our annual ceremony at the Talbot Hotel, Clonmel.
