The disused Courthouse in Tipperary town will get a new lease of life, following years of uncertainty about its future.
The building had fallen into disrepair, and there was subsequently a dispute between the Council and the Court Services as to who should take charge of repairs.

The Court Service, however, now no longer wish to use the building – and are using the Excel centre to hold court sittings.
