Tipp are expected to name their team this evening to face Dublin in Round 3 of the hurling qualifiers on Saturday.
Tipp haven’t had the strongest start to the season, with a loss against Cork in the Munster Championship, and an unconvincing win over Westmeath last weekend.
Tipp manager Michael Ryan described their performance against the Leinster side as ‘below-par’ and said the door was open for other players to make the starting 15.
