Tipp meat processors to export to China

Two meat processors in Tipperary have been approved to export to China.

ABP in Cahir and Ashbourne Meat Processors in Roscrea were announced along with another 12 meat processors by the Chinese government’s General Administration of Customs.

The Tipperary facilities are clearing the way for Irish beef to enter China’s market.

The news comes after a two-week inspection trip by several inspectors from China in recent months.
