An early lead for Tipperary wasn’t enough to overcome Kerry in Group 1 of theladies All-Ireland senior championship this afternoon.
With 21 Mins played Tipp took the lead with a well worked goal by Roisin Howard – 1-03 to 4 points.

However, Kerry kicked on and the Premier went into the second half with a mountain to climb as the Kingdom led 2-09 to Tipp’s 1-03.
Five minutes into the second half an Ashling Moloney goal reduced the gap in Nenagh but Kerry responded with a goal of their own.
Kerrys experience told in the end as they pushed on to win 3-13 Tipp 2-10.
Tipperary march on to face Donegal next.
