The Tipperary Ladies footballers have been relegated from the Senior Championship after losing to Cavan in Virginia.
They went into yesterday’s game knowing a win was needed to stay in the Senior ranks and looked well on their way at half time when they led by 1-9 to 4 points.

However the tide turned in the second half and after several questionable refereeing decisions Cavan ran out 2-14 to 1-14 winners.
So Shane Ronayne’s charges return to the Intermediate ranks for 2019.
