The Tipperary Ladies Footballers needed extra time against Wexford in the All Ireland Intermediate Quarter final to get over the line..
At half time of normal time it looked as though the Premier had just pulled away, going in 1-9 to 6 points up at the break.

However, Wexford came back with two goals of their own in the second half, to leave the game on level pegging – Tipperary 1-12 to Wexford’s 2-9
The game went to extra time where Tipp took an early lead of 4 points, keping Wexford scoreless.
However, Wexford again fought back with an early goal in the second half of extra time.
But Tipp held out to win by a point – 2-15 to 3-11.
