Tipperary will feature on a number of stages in this years Rás Tailteann.

The 8 day event will run from May 20th to 27th, starting in Drogheda.

Stage 2 will finish in Tipperary Town after covering the 149 kilometres from Athlone taking in Cloughjordan and Nenagh, with the category three pairing of Dolla at 88 kilometres and Silvermines at 92.

Those are the final categorised climbs of the day, with flat to undulating roads taking the riders through Hollyford, Cappawhite, Doon and Monard before the finish in Tipperary.

The next day the riders depart for Listowel while Stage 5 will finish in Mitchelstown – the next day will take the race to Carlow taking in Cahir and Cashel.
