Tipp election candidate says things need to change in the county council

One of the youngest candidates in this month’s local election in Tipperary is no stranger to politics.

Máirín McGrath is standing as an independent in the Cahir electoral area.

She is a daughter of Tipp TD Mattie McGrath but says she’s very much her own woman.

Speaking on Tipp Today earlier Máirín said she’s very much aware of the work which has to be put in as a local representative.
