Tipp Disability Advocate says strike action was a last resort

A Tipperary disability advocate says strike action was a last resort to fix their pay dispute.

The National Advocacy Service workers continue their picketing outside the Mall House in Thurles against the Citizens Information Board and the Department of Social Protection .

The services workers, who provide help to over 1,500 people with disabilities, have taken action over the lack of pay parity from their paymasters.

Disability Advocate Anna Fox says it was a tough decision to stop providing help during the strike.
