Tipp County Council honoured in 2018 Green Awards

Tipperary County Council fought off the long arm of the law to take a 2018 Green Award.

The local authority took the honours for the Public Sector organisation of the year.

Also among the winners was ABP which has processing plants in Nenagh and Cahir – they won the Green Large Organisation of the Year.

Councillor Roger Kennedy accepted the award on behalf of Tipperary County Council.

He says to be in the running was an achievement in itself.
