Tipp contingent jet out for All Star hurling tour to Singapore

Tipp captain Padraic Maher says he’s looking forward to the PwC All-Star hurling tour to Singapore.

The 70-strong party – including a number from Tipperary – jetted out from Dublin this morning for a week-long trip to Asia.

They’ll be hosted by the local Singapore Gaelic Lions Club and the Asian County Board of the GAA.

There’ll be a number of exhibition and coaching events with local children during the trip, with the highlight being an exhibition match on Saturday afternoon between the 2016 and 2017 All-Star hurling selections  – a game which will be refereed by Tipperary’s All Ireland final referee Fergal Horgan.
