Tipp Co Co receive funding to fix hazardous footpaths

Tipperary County Council’s insurers have made 2 million euro available for fixing the county’s worst footpaths.

Insurance claims following trips and falls on bad footpaths have been putting increasing pressure on the local authority.

The money is being provided by Irish Public Bodies to improve the areas identified as the most hazardous.
