Tipperary Co Co set-up helpline for vulnerable people after Storm Éowyn

Tipperary County Council has set up a help-line for vulnerable people in the aftermath of Storm Éowyn

A dedicated phone number – 0818 06 50 01 – will be available to provide assistance to vulnerable people in isolated communities and households in conjunction with the HSE, Departments of Housing and Social Protection and the Gardai.

Only just over 60 local households are still without power after Friday’s record winds (on Tuesday afternoon).

They are located in small pockets mostly in North Tipp.

Uisce Éireann says everyone should have their water supply back by now too, although 11-thousand homes, farms and businesses are under Boil Water Notices.
