The Cahir native was crowned champion apprentice at Naas on Sunday.

The 17 year old will fancy his chances of glory this evening on Commodus in 6 o’clock handicap and Vhagar in the 6.30 maiden.

The first of eight races on the all-weather track gets underway at 5.30.
