Tipperary brought to an end Wexfords unbeaten run at Semple Stadium last night, inflicting only the fourth loss the visitors have suffered since Davy Fitzgerald took charge in late 2016.

Jason Forde was man of the match taking the scoring honours hitting 2-9.
Although a late rally by Wexford wasn’t enough.

Tipp’s victory all but guarantees them a place in the top flight next season as well a berth in next month’s quarter-finals.
Wexford are still on course for a place in the last eight despite the loss.
