Residents from the Terryglass area today stepped up their campaign to have repairs carried out on a local road.

They held a protest on the Roran Road last week in a bid to highlight the 1.7 kilometre stretch which is littered with potholes.

Following a public meeting they then decided to gather at the county council offices in Nenagh today.

Mark Harding – one of those involved in the protest – says they felt they’ve been left with no other choice but to escalate their action.
