The Tipperary Senior Footballers have been beaten by Down in Tailteann Cup action today.

The Down side claimed their second successive win in the Tailteann Cup when the Premier welcomed them to Semple Stadium this afternoon.

David Power’s side were defeated by the visitors, 2-18 to 0-6.

Tipperary will next take on Waterford.
