Suir Bridge works due to get underway

Long awaited works on Suir Bridge in Thurles are due to get underway on Monday morning – weather permitting.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland have appointed contractors to carry out major works, which could take up to 16 working days.

There will be major traffic disruptions in the area with a one way system in place and traffic lights in operation – as well as diversions for larger vehicles.
