St. Mary’s crowned County Intermediate Hurling Champions

St Mary’s, Clonmel have been crowned county intermediate hurling champions for 2017.

They convincingly overcame Gortnahoe Glengoole last evening in Golden – 2-19 to 11 points.

The Clonmel club’s last county final success was in Junior A, in 1975.

St Mary’s will now face senior hurling next year, for the first time since their relegation in 2002.
