The Borrisokane man booked his place into the second round yesterday in Hildesheim with his 6-4 win over 1996 BDO World champion Steve Beaton.

The 21-year-old now faces premier league champion and teenage sensation Luke Littler on the big stage, with the game going off last in today’s evening session.
That game is expected to get underway at around 9.30pm Irish time.
