In the first few months of the year four new complaints were made in the Carrick-on-Suir District about unauthorized developments.
In total between January and March there were five warning letters and one enforcement notice issued relating to a planning breach.

This action can only be taken when development has been undertaken without the appropriate planning permission.
In the Carrick Municipal District there have been 32 planning applications approved up to April and 4 refused.
