Search resumes for Tipp man missing on McGillicuddy Reeks

A search is continuing this morning for a Tipperary man missing in County Kerry.

John Dunne was climbing in the McGillicuddy Reeks earlier this week – he hasn’t been seen since Wednesday.

The 61 year old is said to be an experienced hill walker.

A search began at 4.30 yesterday morning – it resumed this morning with Kerry Mountain Rescue set to be joined by the Rescue 117 helicopter.
