Almost a dozen people escaped serious injury when a school bus was involved in a crash near Cahir this morning.
The incident between a car and a school bus occurred on the New Inn Poulmucka road just before 9 this morning.
The crash happened at Knockskagh on the road from New Inn to Poulmucka.
A primary school bus ferrying children to school locally and another vehicle were involved in the early morning crash.
Its understood the school bus had stopped to pick up a child passenger when the car collided with it from behind.
Cashel Gardai aswell as ambulance crews attended the scene and the driver of the car was taken to South Tipperary General Hospital with a minor injury to the hand.
All of the children on the bus were checked on scene and found to be uninjured.
The road was closed for a time but has since reopened
