Sars resume bid for fourth county hurling title

Defending County Senior Hurling Champions Thurles Sarsfields resume their bid for a fourth title in a row, as they take on Nenagh Eire Og this weekend.

The Sars have also impressed at intermediate level, having narrowly missed out on glory – being beaten in the final in the last three years running.

And staying with the county senior hurling championship,

The Group 3 clash of Kilruane McDonaghs and Carrick Swans, originally supposed to be played tomorrow evening, has been put back to Sunday evening at 6 o’ clock in Boherlahan.

All other games should go ahead as scheduled.
