Ryan to stay on for 3rd term with Tipp

Michael Ryan looks set to stay on as Tipperary Senior Hurling manager.

The county board is due to confirm that the Upperchurch native will extend his tenure for a third year.

Writing in today’s Irish Times Tipp FM Straight Talk presenter Jackie Cahill says Ryan’s backroom team will remain the same with Declan Fanning as coach along with selectors Conor Stakelum and John Madden.

Meanwhile Liam Cahill – the All Ireland minor winning manager from 2016 – is set to take over the Under 21 position following William Maher’s decision to step down.
