Proposals for a residential development and creche in Thurles have been rejected by Tipperary County Council.
Sinead Maher had applied for planning permission in September last year to construct 86 residential units on her land at Hayfield Manor, Bohernamona.

Further information was sought by the local authority in November in relation to the 5 detached, 60 semi-detached and 20 terraced houses.
This was submitted in May of this year following which planning officials have opted to reject the plans.
