Progress made on traffic issues around Semple on match days

Local residents say they are suffering huge inconvenience when games are being played at Semple Stadium due to inconsiderate parking by GAA fans.

The newly formed Park Residents Group met with the local Superintendent and other Gardaí yesterday together with the manager of Semple Stadium to discuss their concerns.

Chairman Pat McKenna says they were reasonably satisfied with the meeting.

The Park Residents Group will hold an open meeting for locals on Thursday next at 8pm in the Sarsfield Centre.
