Progress made in securing a new fire station for Cashel

Progress has been made in securing a new fire station for Cashel.

A design team has been appointed for the new base at Wallers Lot on the Clonmel Road.

Fire crews are currently on Ladyswell Street in the town.

While it is likely to be a number of years before the new station is up and running local Councillor Tom Wood says it’s important that thought is given to a use for the existing building.
