Power outtages in Tipperary following Storm Ashley

Hundreds of homes and businesses are without power this morning in the wake of the first named storm of the season.

Storm Ashley swept through the country yesterday, with Mayo, Galway, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry, north Cork and Dublin’s northside were worst impacted.

In Tipperary, 42 ESB customers are without power this morning in the Boherlody area outside Nenagh whilst on the Holycross road outside Thurles, 234 customers are without power.

Current ESB estimates say that power should be restored by 2pm this afternoon.
