Post Mortem expected to be carried out today after woman dies in Tipp Town housefire

A Post Mortem examination is expected to be carried out today on the remains of a woman who died in a housefire in Tipperary Town.

Marguerite O’Halloran was killed in the blaze at her home on Dillon Street on Friday night.

The mother-of-four, who was in her 50s, was was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services were called out at about 8.30pm.

The scene remains sealed off today and Gardai says they are continuing to investigate all the circumstances surrounding her death.
