Possible change in Tipp club fixtures

Tipperary County Board are looking at changing the structure of the fixture list for clubs.

There are a number of games still to be played in a short space of time, while also catering for inter-county fixtures.

New proposals have been put forward this week by the Club Players Association, which would see April dedicated to club games, Decemeber as a month free of fixtures, and all club games finish within the calendar year.

County Board vice chair John Devane says it’s difficult to get the balance between club and county games.
