Planning sought to upgrade Fethard wastewater plant

Uisce Éireann have applied for planning permission to upgrade the wastewater treatment plant in Fethard.

The utility service has lodged an application with Tipperary County Council
To carry out extensive works at the plant at Moneypark.

These include the fitting of larger inlet pumps, the construction of new larger inlet screening works and a new chemical dosing system.

A decision is due from the planning department by May 22nd.
