Toomevara manager Ken Dunne is expecting a similarly tight contest today.

“They know us and we probably know them having played each other last year and that game was tight, it was a 50/50 game, it was a good game, lively game in The Ragg and I expect the same on Saturday.

“Moycarkey have probably found a few players as well and they are very young and athletic and Thurles will suit them.

“I’d hope that we have improved a bit from last year as well and found one or two players.

“It’s going to be a right good match and a serious battle and we’re just hoping that we get a performance on the day and see where it takes us.”

We’ll have live commentary of that game on Tipp FM with thanks to De Faoite Restaurant at The Arch Bar , Liberty Square, Thurles.

We’ll also have live commentary of the first game in FBD Semple Stadium today.

That’s the Premier Intermediate Hurling semi-final clash between Upperchurch-Drombane and Cashel King Cormacs with coverage here on Tipp FM in association with Martin O’Dwyer Family Butchers, Friar St. Cashel.
