Passengers on a bus from Dublin airport to Clonmel urged to keep an eye out for symptoms of measles

The person who had the measles on a bus from Dublin airport to Clonmel wasn’t showing any symptoms at the time.

The HSE and Department of Health are appealing to anyone who was on the JJ Kavanaghs 717 bus that left the airport for Tipperary at 4 o’clock last Saturday to be on the lookout for signs they might have the virus.

Seek medical advice immediately is the warning for anyone with a baby under 12-months old or who is pregnant or immunocompromised

Specialist Registrar in Public Health Medicine Dr. John Gannon has been telling Tipp FM News that passengers could have been sitting beside the person who came down with measles without knowing they were sick.
