Over €50,000 worth of funding has been approved for two local Minor Flood Mitigation Works projects.
The Office of Public Works has signed off on Tipperary County Council’s applications for funding in both cases.

€25200 will go to for planned works at Ballylooby including an embankment wall along the river within affected property; Installing non-return valves on storm pipes; and Installing temporary flood barriers at the affected property locations.
Ardfinnan village is to get €27000 to replace old barriers with a modern reliable new system that is fit for purpose.
