It’s hoped funding for works to clean up a notorious dump in North Tipperary will made available as soon as possible.
Specialist consultants have been on site at Shannon Vermicomposting near Rathcabbin and have described the dump as stable.

The operation at Coolross which used worms to break down compostable material ceased trading in 2005 after the Council secured court injunctions against it amid concerns over its operation and odour problems.
Local Councillor Michael O’Meara says efforts to sort it out are progressing.
