Old Limerick road between Nenagh & Birdhill remains closed following single vehicle accident

The old Limerick Road between Nenagh and Birdhill (R445) remains closed this morning.

That’s following a single vehicle accident yesterday evening which is said to have occurred near the old Five Alley pub.

The single occupant of the car is currently being assessed in University Hospital Limerick.

An Garda Síochána says the road will remain closed until approximately lunchtime this afternoon to allow for a technical examination.
