Offaly legend prepares for first game as Nenagh Eire Og manager

Nenagh Eire Óg are in action this weekend in their first outing under new manager Brian Whelehan.

The Offaly legend takes over from former Tipperary star Michael Cleary, who had been guiding the team’s fortunes in an interim capacity.

Nenagh take on Carrick Swans in Holycross at 3.30 on Sunday afternoon in the County Championship.

Michael Cleary is hoping Whelehan can turn things around for Nenagh Eire Óg.
