The Croke Park factor shouldn’t be a big issue for Tipperary this weekend according to John ‘Bubbles’ O’Dwyer.
The two-time All-Ireland winner has been giving his thoughts ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final clash with Kilkenny.
Eight of Tipperary’s starters against Galway will be playing for the Premier in Croke Park for the first time on Sunday.
Speaking on Tipp FM, O’Dwyer believes there is enough experience and confidence in the group:
“I don’t think it will be a big issue, there is plenty of experience in that dressing room.
“The way players prepare for games and the way they go about everything is so precise.
“I don’t think it will be an issue for any of these players and all of these players, the eight lads you mentioned (who haven’t played in Croke Park), they play for Tipperary, they are not going to be short of confidence going up to Croke Park for an All-Ireland semi-final.
“I don’t think the stadium will matter.”
