Noel Loughmore/Castleiney are county senior football champions.
The Mid Tipp club won their 16th ever title yesterday, beating Clonmel Commercials 0-11 to 0-07 in FBD Semple Stadium.
The win meant Loughmore completed the senior hurling and football double for the third time, having previously achieved the feat in 2013 and 2021.
Speaking after the game, Loughmore’s Noel McGrath was delighted with another county final victory:
“It’s unreal, it’s hard to explain and I know we have done it before but you just don’t get sick of doing it and we’re just so happy.
“These are unbelievable days, we’ll never get these games back, we’ll never get them back so the more chances we get when you win is great and we’re so happy.”
