Gardai say there were no injuries following this morning’s incident in which a digger caught fire on the Roscrea to Dunkerrin road.
The R445 was closed for several hours while emergency services brought the blaze under control.

One unit of the Roscrea Fire Service attended the scene along with local gardaí.
The road has now reopened and the incident is being treated as accidental.
