There has been a renewed call for a recycling facility in Carrick on Suir.
At a recent Municipal District meeting an update revealed there are no plans to set one up in the area.

Currently, those wishing to recycle white goods and mattresses have to travel to Clonmel.
Councillor David Dunne says this is not an ideal situation.
