New Youth Diversion Project to be set up in Thurles

The Department of Justice is looking for local community and youth service organisations who are registered charities to set up the programme.

It’s where Gardaí can opt not to charge vulnerable children for crime and anti-social behaviour offences and instead send them into these programmes which try to divert them away from criminal behaviour and towards better life outcomes.
