New GAA season will need time to bed down

The new look GAA playing season in store for 2018 will take time to bed down but it has potential.

That’s the view of Tipp senior Hurling backroom member and Drom & Inch goalkeeper Damien Young who was speaking at LITs Strength and Conditioning conference in Thurles.

From next year the National Hurling and football leagues will start earlier than previously along with extended provincial championships in hurling while the club player will for the first time have a clearly defined season.

Damien told Tipp FM Sport that it will take time to adjust to new season structures
