New EV charging points planned for a Clonmel retail park

There’s plans to put 8 new EV charging points into a Clonmel retail park.

Source EV Ireland Ltd has lodged an application with the local authority to put 4 new EV charging stations into the car park at the Poppyfield Retail Park.

Each one would have 2 charging bays so up to eight electric vehicles could be charged at any time.

The proposals include an ancillary building to house an ESB substation to service the proposed development on the Cahir Rd at Ballingarrane.
