New Bus Eireann talks possible

There are hopes that fresh talks could be in the pipeline in an effort to end the Bus Eireann strike.

On day 11 of the action, it’s thought the Workplace Relations Commission could invite all parties to a fresh round of discussions, once there’s no repeat of last Friday’s secondary picketing.

Dublin Bus and Irish Rail services were badly hit in the wildcat action.

Industry Correspondent with the Irish Times Martin Wall says there needs to be a good reason for the WRC to try again to resolve the row.
