Nenagh Hospital is to become a major hub for cataract surgery in Ireland.
The hospital has been chosen to lead efforts to tackle the growing waiting lists in ophthalmology across the country.
Earlier I spoke to Labour’s Spokesperson on Health, Tipperary TD Alan Kelly who described it as great news not just for Nenagh but the mid-west.
